As with most major online game releases piling up grade now the messages of allegedly hacked accounts.
Presumably, the people but rather to "Diablo 3 maphack" or "Diablo 3 gold cheat" Googled and there is a small keylogger installed without download that was submitted directly to a bot.
Here you will find a security official message to Blizzard, one of the alleged "gestohlenden session IDs" and co. can read in the comments. Supposedly, it has also affected people who have played with a fresh patch system and the new PW. That a hacked email account can of course also be responsible for forgetting many. This account may have been caught long before the Diablo 3 release over any "Diablo 3 Games" or something similar and then just grab the gold-sellers too.
- What are your experiences? Has it hit you or not taken up?
- Do you know someone who "hacked" was?
I personally seems to be rather ordinary large to be explained through normal trojans and keyloggers, the number of complaints received by supposedly 1.6 million players in Europe.
My tip: Use a strong PW, the authenticator, and keep yourself in addition of chat, AH Public and away games, if you believe in the theory of uncertain Battle.net.
