Blizzard im Guiness-Buch der Rekorde

Relativ unbemerkt von deutschen Fanseiten erhielt Blizzard kürzlich auf der E3 Expo 2009 die “Guiness World Record (Gamer’s Edition)”-Awards für das beliebteste Rollenspiel (World of Warcraft mit 11.6 Mio Abonenten) und das meistverkaufte Strategiespiel der Welt (Starcraft / 9.5 mio Kopien).
Das erfolgreichste Spiel wurde Wii Sports mit satten 45.7 mio Kopien. Außerdem wurden Call of Duty 4 und Guitar Hero ausgezeichnet.
